Musicals

Students from Year 5 to 12 are invited to audition for the College Musical which takes place biennially at the Dalby Great Hall. There are no guidelines as to who can audition, or previous experience needed, and many exciting emerging performers are discovered as the weeks and months of rehearsals take place and the show comes together for opening night. The entire cast and crew is made up of students and anyone with a talent in lighting, hair styling, make-up, costume design, singing, acting or dancing is encouraged to take part. There is a role for any student who is keen to be a part of an amazing musical production. The Visual Art department designs and paints props and creates advertising materials, while the INTAD department plays an important role in building props and set pieces. The Musical production stages over one matinee and two amazing nights with members of the community invited to attend and enjoy the talent and dedication of staff and students at OLSCC. Our next Musical is scheduled for 2022 so stay tuned for announcements later in the year.
