Parent Communication

The College utilises one main platform for communication to parents using SchoolZine which includes our College website, SZapp app, emails and push notifications. All parents should download the SZapp app to their mobile device to ensure they are kept informed of all College activities, news and alerts. When you download the SZapp app, you will automatically be registered to receive messages via SchoolZine email. The SZapp app allows you to access Flexishools online tuckshop ordering, absentee forms, links to the complaints management process and more. The College also utilises SMS for immediate contact with parents. You may receive an SMS message if your child is absent and unexplained from school or if we need to contact all parents in case of emergency. Please ensure your mobile phone details are up to date with the College Office or via the Parent Portal.

Other communications may be recevied via a note home to parents. Each class has a message bag which is collected daily ensuring any letters or permission notes are distributed from the College Office directly to your child's class. Any notes to be returned to the College Office are placed in class message bags which are then delivered back to Admin staff daily. 

Parents are also requested to access the Parent Portal on occasion to update and add to student and family contact and medical information. The Parent Portal is linked directly to our School Administration System where all student records are kept. Any new families will receive and log in and temporary password for the Parent Portal early in 2019.
