Athletics
Congratulations to the following students who competed at the Darling Downs Championships last week. Results from both days are listed below. Thanks to Mr Coman for preparing our athletes for this event. It was disappointing a number of students nominated, but failed to attend the competition. This is not a great look for the College. The Highlight of the championships was Michael MacDonald winning the 100m Boys Under 15 Final. Michael will now attend the State Championships in Cairns. Michael MacDonald – 1st 100m Final (11.29sec)
Liam Walker – 3rd High Jump
Will Herbert – 4th Long Jump, 4th High Jump
Breanna Hoskin – 4th Discus, 7th Shot Put
Max Ogilvie – 5th 800m
Emily Griffiths – 6th High Jump, 13 Triple Jump, 19th Long Jump
Brayden Falvey – 13th 200m, 18th 100m

As the end of the term is fast approaching, I am making an urgent request for the return of any sporting uniforms that may be still outstanding. Please return them ASAP.
