Dalby Eisteddfod Final Wrap
The Dalby Eisteddfod competitions wrapped up last Saturday and the Winner's Concert was held on Tuesday night after a long but exciting week of performances. There were many highlights across all the College entries and lots of first places including Prep Red who finally got their turn to compete last Friday. Prep Red sang 'Daisy, Daisy' for their first place in the Prep section while Prep Blue received a Highly Commended for their performance of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'.
Invitations for winners to compete at the Winners Concert were extended and we were excited to learn that Year 3/4 were on the program after they won their class with 'The Addams Family' as well as the Vocal group of Sally Lum, Gosego Mosako, Claire Davison and Jacinda Smith who sang So Long, Farewell.
Miss Berwick's Vocal students were very competitive amongst a high standard of vocalists from all across the Darling Downs region. Please see the table below for their results.
